I'M JAY O'MEARA
You need me. Let me tell you why.
I'm a Philadelphia based Creative Professional who has produced Illustrations, Animations, Web Sites, and Flash Applications for a variety of different types of clients including small businesses, a publishing house, and several local bands. I was most recently employed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as an all purpose art monkey.
I am proficient in a bunch of Adobe Products (Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, and Premiere) and the Adobe interface is so ingrained in my skull I learn new ones quickly. I am also pretty handy with HTML/CSS and Flash Actionscript. I am a quick learner of new applications. However, as much as I love technology I am most at home on paper, and all of my projects start there.
A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, I accidently got lost walking to Wawa one day and ended up in Georgia. After escaping the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004 with a BFA in Computer Art, I ended up in Los Angeles. 5 days later, I quickly realized I was an "East Coast kind of person" and returned to Philadelphia. Now (when I'm not working) I can be found frequenting the streets on First Fridays, attending the Philadelphia branch of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, and racking up noise complaints with any of several musical projects on stages across the city and surrounding tri-county area.
